Bert saw the piece I did for this occasion and asked me if I wanted to participate to Interdans for the next summer. I directly said yes! I was really excited by the idea. A group of motivated young dancers and choreographers

getting together to create a whole evening of dance, it’s the kind of offer you can’t refuse!

I think it’s going to be an intense artistic and human experience. And because the team is quiet diverse, it’s exciting for me to discover different opinions, techniques and ways of working.

So, finally, a young festival giving the chance to young artists to share their view on dance.

As you know, we are getting closer to the 4th edition of the festival Interdans. Bert and me have been already pretty busy organizing, collecting information and improving; website, CV’s, schedules,…

This year as well as the others is going to be an adventure worth living. We have a very interesting artistic team composed by various dancers and choreographers… The performance will offer, I think, many different inputs to the audience.

For my part, I decided to make a piece in collaboration with Matthias Kass (choreography) and Antonin Wyss (music). We have already started working and the fact to be more than one thinking about a concept is very exciting. Our piece is called « Idem » and deals with Identities… I will not reveal more about it, you will have to come and see for yourselves.

I am looking forward to meet you at Interdans 2012. Tell all you friends and families about it. It is going to be great.

My name is Davidson Farias, i come from Brasil and i’m dancer at Luzern Theater.

At the moment I’m working  with the choreographer Georg Reischl, for a new creation of TLT about MOZART, the process of the piece it’s really captivating.

But let’s talk about Interdans Festival,

When Bert ask me to participate, as the it was the first time i wasn’t quite sure about it, becouse i knew that in the end of season  probably i would be really tired, without energy…

But i was interested and curious to work with different dancers(choreographers), that i didn’t know, and build something together in a really short period of time.

So when i got there , i saw everyone working backstage as well, it just gave me a lot of energy to do it too!

I had a great time with such nice group of people, i did enjoyed it  a lot everyone  and everything when i was there!!

I think that exchange between dancers it’s really worth it.

I just wanna thank you all dancers for the great time!! And Bert for the invitation, and i know how hard you work for it!

Unfortunately I don’t know yet if i can make it for next year! But i wish a big success for the Festival!!!!

I’m Hanna, eighteen years old and I was the youngest dancer at the festival. I just graduated at the Royal balletschool of Antwerp after 7 years, and I just started my first job as a professional dancer in Essen, Germany on the 5th of september. Everything is new and very exciting but thanks to the coörperation with all of the dancers during the festival, I had a little taste of what the rest of my life would be like. And I have to say I’m looking forward…

Originally I’m more a classical trained dancer, but every year after all the performances together with this amazing group, I tend to lean more to the comtemporary side of dance.
I have learned so much with dancing in the festival. Not only this year, altough especially this year about the diversity that contmporary dance gives you. And the way a movement can change you and for that, I am very thankfull to all the dancers! I did not only had an amazing time dancing Clement’s piece, but also learned a lot from all the others.

And after some very hard days for everybody, the performances were a succes.
